Our studio is in the Oltrarno and most projects are on the left bank—Santo Spirito, San Frediano, San Niccolò, and along the lungarno. We also accept commissions in other Florence districts and nearby Fiesole when the brief suits our residential focus.

Many Florentine walls conceal earlier decorative layers beneath modern plaster. Before specifying finishes, we assess moisture levels, substrate condition, and whether lime wash or breathable coatings are appropriate. We avoid trapping moisture with incompatible modern paints on historic surfaces.

Yes—antique-compatible layouts are central to our approach. Bring photographs and dimensions of key pieces to the first meeting. We plan circulation, sightlines, and lighting to showcase inherited furniture rather than requiring you to start from empty rooms.

A kitchen living spine connects the cucina, dining area, and main salon into one coherent open-plan core. In Florentine apartments this often means working around existing beams, chimney breasts, and shutter positions while improving flow between cooking and social space.

Typically eight to fourteen weeks from signed agreement to final documentation, depending on apartment size, heritage review requirements, and revision rounds. We provide a timeline in every proposal.

We coordinate with your chosen builders and provide contractor-ready drawings, finish schedules, and site visits during construction. We do not act as general contractor but maintain a network of trusted Florentine artisans we can recommend.

Design advisory is €150/h. Room refresh from €1,100, bedroom suites from €2,200, kitchen living spines from €3,400, partial apartment concepts from €6,500, and full apartment concepts from €9,200. See our pricing page for full details.
